PART 1.

Visas and Residency Services for Individuals and Families Coming to New Zealand
If you are not a citizen of New Zealand and want to visit or live here, then passport assistance- Licenced and Registered immigration consultants Woburn International can help you get the best possible permission as soon as possible.

Many migration applications fail because of mistakes people made in applying, and not because they were not eligible.

VISAS

A visa is a label which is placed in the holder’s passport or travel document.  The Visa label contains information about the holder’s entitlements to travel to, and stay in New Zealand.  It will also include details of other conditions such as the ability to work or study in New Zealand.  Some visas also allow for multiple entry which avoids having to apply for a visa for every entry.  Citizens from some countries are eligible to travel to New Zealand under a ‘Visa Waiver’ arrangement New Zealand has with their home country.

When you complete your arrival card on the plane to New Zealand, you are applying for an ‘entry’ visa which is then stamped in your passport on arrival. They normally expire as soon as you leave New Zealand, and you must apply for a new one when you come back here.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE
Permanent Residence in New Zealand lets you to live, work, and study here for as long as you wish. It also lets you to enjoy most of the benefits that New Zealand citizens have, like domestic study fees much lower than the charges for international students, and publicly-funded health care.

PART 2.

Permits, Visas and Residency Services for Individuals and Families Leaving New Zealand

Whether you are a New Zealand citizen or not, if you want to leave New Zealand, it is important to have all the necessary permits, visas, and passports in order.

  • Most countries require you to have current valid visas (and if needed, specific permits) before you can enter there.
  • In many cases, the application must be done in the country you are a citizen of, or that you live in.
  • If you have citizenship in another country and go back there for just a visit, you may not be allowed back into New Zealand if you don’t have the proper re-entry visa.
Also, many things can go wrong when applying for these visas:
  • Making mistakes in the application forms can delay your visa or permit, or even make your application get rejected.
  • If you do not know WHY an application is asking a question, you may volunteer information that will hurt your chances of acceptance.
  • Applying for the wrong type of visa or permit can have you “rejected at the border”, or have you “deported early” for doing things you shouldn’t (e.g. study, or work).

Please Note: Many applications fail because of mistakes people made in applying, and not because they were not eligible.

For more than 20 years, Woburn International Ltd has helped over 1700 people from New Zealand to live and work in 74 other countries, permanently or for just a while. We know how to do it best, because we have had so many experiences over such a long time.

ABOUT PERMITS AND VISAS
Permits are usually given on your arrival, and allow you to do different things, depending on the type of Permit. They normally expire as soon as you leave that country, and you must be issued with a new one when you re-enter that country.

Visas allow you to enter and temporarily stay in a country. They say the dates and conditions that you are permitted to enter and stay.
